Easter Baskets, that look like Bunny Faces.

I know it looks like it is going to be difficult, but surprisingly it is not.  I have had so much fun making these, this is what I am using for our kids Easter Baskets.    I have made video tutorials on how to make this basket so anyone who is just starting crochet can make this basket.    I am going to first post this pattern in full, so the more experienced  crafters can get started right away.  Then I am going to put the videos underneath it, you can also go to our YouTube page to see them all there.  Our channel name is Bugaloospoodle, I know it is cute.

So first things first the Pattern:    Basket Section First:

Chain 2

Row 1:  Work 6 Single Crochet in first chain, Place marker in first stitch for beginning of round, move marker up as you

complete each round.

Row 2:  Work 2 Single Crochet in each stitch around for a total of 12 stitches.

Row  3:  Now put * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in next stitch, Repeat from * to end- 18 stitches.

Row 4:  Now put * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 2 Stitches, Repeat from * to end – 24 stitches.

Row 5:  Now put * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 3 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 30 stitches.

Row 6:  Now put * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 single Crochet in each of next 4 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 36 stitches.

Row 7: Now put * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 5 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 42 stitches.

Row 8: Now put * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 6 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 48 stitches.

Row 9:  Working through back loops only, Work * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 7 stitches,

Repeat from * to end – 54 stitches.

Row 10: Now put * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 8 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 60 stitches

Row 11- 22:  Single Crochet in each stitch around, -60 stitches

Row 23:  * Single Crochet 2 together, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 8 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 54 stitches.

Row 24: * Single Crochet 2 together, 1 single Crochet in each of next 7 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 48 stitches.

Row 25: * Single Crochet 2 together, 1 single Crochet in each of next 6 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 42 stitches.

Fasten Off.

Now time for the handle:

Chain 41.   Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across – 40 stitches.

Row 2: Chain 1, Turn, Single Crochet in each stitch across.        Fasten Off

Ears ( make 2 of these)

Chain 2         Row 1: Work 4 Single Crochet in first Chain.  Place marker in first stitch for beginning of round;

move marker up as each round is completed.

Row 2:  Single Crochet in each stitch around – 4 stitches

Row 3:  2 Single Crochet in each stitch around – 8 stitches.

Row 4:  Single Crochet in each stitch around – 8 stitches.

Row 5:  * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in next stitch, Repeat from * to end – 12 stitches.

Row 6:  Single Crochet in each stitch around – 12 stitches

Row 7: * 2 Single Crochet in next stitch, 1 Single Crochet in each of next 2 stitches, Repeat from * to end – 16 stitches.

Row 8 – 22:  Single Crochet in each stitch around – 16 stitches.

Row 23:  Single Crochet 2 together around for a total of 8 stitches left.          Fasten off.

Finishing:  Sew ends of handle to inside of basket. Sew on ears. With black yarn, embroider straight eyes, and a nose.

    This is very good. Your not lost at any time putting this together. Very well explained.I like the way you do the whole thing not just leave in the middle and hope it turns out right.
