Sleep Sock Pattern using Size 6 straight Needles, (you can knit one or both at the same time)
Starting at the top/cuff of sock:
Cast on 48 stitches and rib (k1,p1) for 7-8 inches.
Bind off 12 stitches, knit 24, then bind off remaining 12 stitches and cut yarn.
Top of foot:
Re-attach yarn and work on the remaining 24 stitches until this section measures 6-7 inches.
Shaping Toe: Decrease by knitting two stitches together at the beginning and end of each row until you have 12 stitches
remaining on needle. Then you will immediately begin to increase one stitch at the beginning and at the end
of each row until the stitch count is back up to 24.
Bottom of foot: Continue working on the 24 stitches until this section is the same length as the top of the foot.
Shaping the Heel: Decrease by knitting two stitches together at the beginning and the end of the row until 12 stitches remain,
Then immediately begin increasing one stitch at the beginning and at the end of the row until the stitch
count is back up to 24.
Sewing: Seam the back center of the ribbing together. Then sew up the “angles” on both heel and toe. Next sew the heel
to the bottom of the ribbing and last seam both sides.
